Online Workshops are an option for you to enhance your studies as an add-on, or you can take them on their own – the choice is yours! You can be part of the online workshop community at the same time as any full-length CATCH course, and CATCH graduates can also join and complete online workshops.

You and your classmates will be led by one of our awesome program directors who are known in the industry for their passion, experience, teaching skills, and love of coaching you!

Each workshop is 4-weeks of engaging study and community interactions, with a flexible format that can fit any schedule.

Completion of all assignments will earn you a new certificate for the workshop topic. This certificate will be in addition to any other CATCH credential you are working towards or have already earned.

• Build confidence and skill in how to build any behavior from scratch using reward-based methods.
• Whether it’s basic or advanced, a task or a trick, you’ll learn how to “cook up” the recipe needed to get the behavior you want the dog to perform.
• Develop your ability to create or modify a training plan to match the dog in front of you.
• Learn how to handle real world training challenges as they arise, filling your toolbox with alternate ways to teach different dogs and people.

Level 2 Advanced Behavior Problem Solving: Up Your B-Mod Game

Learning Objectives:

• When you’re dealing with aggression, fear, anxiety, leash reactivity, or resource guarding, there is a maze of possible challenges and plans you need to navigate. Let’s face it, behavior cases can be tricky and they’re not easy to handle on your own.
• This workshop gives you the skills to navigate those challenges and make real change.
• Learn step-by-step, science-backed behavior modification techniques.
• Learn how to listen to clients and change expectations, then build realistic plans and gain buy-in.
• Enhance your management and b-mod skills for tougher cases including aggression, fear, and anxiety.
• Work on real case studies with expert guidance our team of professional trainers, all while getting support and discourse from your fellow students in our private online CATCH Community.

  Live and Recorded Video Sessions: Enjoy the flexibility of learning from home or on the go. • Community Learning: You’ll interact with your workshop leaders and fellow students in our private online community. We’ll all be sharing videos on training and behavior, giving feedback, and answering your questions. It’s all about growing together!

Duration: 4 weeks

Live Weekly Group Sessions: 

• Weekly Live Zoom sessions (approx. 1 hour each) for expert-led discussions and Q&A.
• Our regular meetups will be recorded and available with closed captioning after the fact. Live attendance is encouraged!

Skill-Building Assignments:

• Watch pre-recorded video lessons and demos regularly posted by your instructor in the community.
• Get hands-on practice assignments and submit a video of your own work each week.
• Give and receive positive feedback and helpful suggestions to enhance your skills!
• Discuss thought-provoking posts throughout the week to engage and learn with your fellow trainers.
• Complete all assignments with full participation in the community and earn a new certificate in addition to any CATCH credentials you are currently working on, or have already completed.
• Put your new skills and confidence to work, making a difference with all the dogs and people you teach!
