CATCH is Proud to Accept Veteran Readiness And Employment Funding for Veterans (Chapter 31) Seeking a Professional Dog Trainer School

“I am so thankful that I chose the right program and how it has affected my attitude and understanding towards dog training.” – David S., CATCH Graduate & US Army Veteran

CATCH offers US veterans the opportunity to become a dog trainer with an advanced and well-rounded education, resulting in the title of Certified Dog Trainer. This high level program includes a 10-Phase Master Class Certification Course, complete with local Mentor Trainer, PLUS attendance at three 1-Week Workshops at any of our on-campus locations.

Master Class

The Master Class is designed as a unique, hands-on, distance learning course so you can become a Certified Dog Trainer from anywhere in the US. You can study self-paced in your own town, join us for hands-on workshops on one of our campus locations, or a combination of both.

Enjoy unlimited, friendly student support 9am – 7pm ET, including Saturdays. You will have a Program Director for academic support by phone, email, and even video chat, as well as a local Mentor Trainer for shadowing and evaluations throughout your studies.

Upon completion of the Master Class, you will earn your CATCH Certified Dog Trainer (CCDT) title, and be ready to make an impact on the dog world with an impressive skill set to put behind your passion.

What Our Veterans Are Saying

Train and keep behaviors strong for lasting results and learn to generalize performance to many different situations and environments.

“The team you assembled to teach the workshop was outstanding. David, Ferdie, and Kate shared their experiences in the field with the class in a way that was clear and concise. They also took the time one-on-one to guide each of us helping to shape better training practices. The corrections that each offered me in how I was training once again kicked my skill set to a higher level. There is no substitute for hands-on experience. Looking forward to the next workshop and hope that more will be developed to be offered down the road.” – Jim H. 2018 Graduate

“10!!!!
What an amazing experience. Not only did we get to learn so much through the help of some excellent mentors, we were also able to help shelter dogs get adopted which is priceless. I am looking forward to applying what I have learned back at home with local shelter dogs. I cannot thank the instructors enough for making this such a great experience. My sincerest gratitude to all!” – Sandy M. 2017 Graduate
