Join our expert trainers and your classmates in a private online CATCH Community. Watch videos and post your own, ask questions, get into discussions, go deeper!

Online Workshops are an option for you to enhance your studies as an add-on, or you can take them on their own – the choice is yours! You can be part of the online workshop community at the same time as any full-length CATCH course, and CATCH graduates can also join and complete online workshops.

You and your classmates will be led by one of our awesome program directors who are known in the industry for their passion, experience, teaching skills, and love of coaching you!

Each workshop is 2-weeks of engaging study and community interactions, with a flexible format that can fit any schedule.

Completion of all assignments will earn you a new certificate for the workshop topic. This certificate will be in addition to any other CATCH credential you are working towards or have already earned.

Level 2 Training Skills: The Advanced Playbook

This advanced workshop is designed for trainers ready to elevate their behavior-building skills. You’ll refine your ability to design, troubleshoot, and adapt training plans using reward-based methods building more complex behaviors with clarity and precision.We’ll focus on advanced skill development, including chaining behaviors, creating fluency, and applying your training systems to real-world behavior modification cases.Through collaborative discussion and case-based learning, you’ll strengthen your ability to confidently “engineer” behaviors while adapting to the dog and handler in front of you, all with support from instructors and peers in the CATCH Community.

Build a stronger training foundation with this online workshop series covering key concepts and hands-on skills for effective and fun dog training with our professional trainers Julie Neuman and Jordyn Hatfield! Over 4 live Zoom sessions, written discussions and assignments, students will learn how to use positive reinforcement, read and improve handler body language, and understand how to use food as a powerful reinforcer.


The workshop will also introduce practical training tools and techniques, including Push/Drop/Stick, setting up successful training sessions, shaping and prompting, and teaching essential behaviors like sit and down. This series is designed to help students build confidence, improve timing and communication, and create more successful training experiences with dogs all while interacting with other trainers and students in our community!

If you miss a live session, you can watch the recording on your own time and catch up later.

Watch practice videos and then submit your own to showcase what you’re learning and get pro coaching!

Duration: 2 weeks

Live Weekly Group Sessions: 

  • Weekly Live Zoom sessions (approx. 1 hour each) for expert-led discussions and Q&A.
  • Our regular meetups will be recorded and available with closed captioning after the fact. Live attendance is encouraged!

Skill-Building Assignments:

  • Watch pre-recorded video lessons and demos regularly posted by your instructor in the community.
  • Get hands-on practice assignments and submit a video of your own work each week.
  • Give and receive positive feedback and helpful suggestions to enhance your skills!
  • Discuss thought-provoking posts throughout the week to engage and learn with your fellow trainers.
  • Complete all assignments with full participation in the community and earn a new certificate in addition to any CATCH credentials you are currently working on, or have already completed.
