Digging Dogs™ Learning Community – Guiding Principles and Rules

CATCH is very convenient. I have 3 busy kids and a household to coordinate, and my job is 45 minutes in the opposite direction of all three schools. CATCH lets me study at my pace, providing me help any time I have a question.

Over her year with CATCH, I have watched [my student] Jane’s confidence bloom. It never occurred to me this would be one side benefit of the CATCH program – it can change people’s lives! Jane hit the ground running and never looked back.

Every page of the study guide has kept me wanting to read more, I am so excited about that.

Really one of the best decisions I ever made was to become a CATCH student. Have learned so much and working with my mentor trainer has been a huge plus for me, too. Her input helped me make the decision to go for it!!

Phase 4…LOVING IT! This is so much fun. The videos are great. I’m really learning a lot about the correct way to train. My Mentor is awesome! What a nice guy. He has been more than able to answer my questions.

[My student] Camille was absolutely amazing! She explains everything extremely well and has great understanding of all issues. Great addition to the dog training world!

I feel like my doggie-blindfold has been removed, and I can now appreciate my dogs better by understanding them on their own terms.

My Mentor Trainer gave me an offer to stay on as a helper after the six weeks because she is getting busy. 🙂 I said ‘OF COURSE’ I would love to!

The training works fast and the dog clearly understands exactly what behavior is being rewarded. I really appreciate this course and I cannot explain how much it means to me.

I read through the Phase 4 info on the subway to work and I am SO EXCITED to get started on this one!

With every other school I spoke to I felt like it was more about getting my money and not finding out why training is so important to me. Speaking with David and Rebecca I felt like I was speaking to a friend who was trying to help me accomplish my goals and it never once felt like a sales call.

I was able to meet with [my student] Heather today and she is just fantastic. She was so prepared, engaged and ready to learn. She presented the information in a very clear and concise manner. I think she has a very bright future ahead of her.

I am having so much fun learning. The way the course is laid out really helps us absorb the important details.

The process of becoming a dog trainer becomes more and more rewarding every day for me!

We loved seeing the educational training videos shot live, watching David work magic in a matter of moments with two of our shelter dogs. All positive training! Highly recommend as in 5 stars!

CATCH is the only training group I know of that promotes positive and intelligent methods without gimmicks or aversives. Recently someone asked me if I knew of a good way to get certified as a trainer, and I referred CATCH immediately. You guys are doing things right. Keep up the good work!

I LOVE this program! The personal assistance is like no other. I was told about this school from a trainer that has been in the business for a long time. She recommended it because of the training techniques versus other academies that still focus on traditional methods. I volunteer at my local shelter and the dogs respond so well to these techniques, it’s truly amazing to see.

I am so glad to be taking this course as I am learning so much and able to put that knowledge to immediate use with the dogs.

It’s not just the basics in dog training with CATCH. It’s a more in depth curriculum. I wanted a school to help me with ‘why dogs have fear aggression’ and ‘why they suffer from separation anxiety.’ Studying here, I will be able to answer those questions.

I couldn’t wait to get started! I’ve always thought I knew more about animals than the average person, but this course has made me realize how little I actually know. I’m completely intrigued by animal behavior research and am excited to learn more.

Working with my Mentor was so much fun that it made the learning easy. He is very knowledgeable and professional. A real inspiration.

Wow. What a difference this course is making in my training. I actually see my dog and I communicating better with all the little things like sound and body language. It’s so cool, I am loving this!
