Be aware that most dog owners will not get as detailed about puppy socialization as this Puls’ checklist does – this one is exceptionally thorough. If you use this as a handout with a client, you may want to start by highlighting the most important categories first and then advise that “the more items you cover the better, but you certainly don’t have to do ALL of these for good socialization. Quality of experiences is more important than quantity.”
