Our Featured Student this month is Morgan Butler of Naperville, Illinois. At the time of this posting, Morgan is in Phase 7 of the Master Class, and she’s doing a fantastic job!

A Word from Morgan
My Favorite Recent Study Topics:
My favorite topics of study so far have been Understanding Behavior, Body Language & Vocalizations. I have also enjoyed How Dogs Think & Learn, and Behavior problem solving.
My Favorite Recent Hands-On Activity:
My favorite hands-on activity was Basic Obedience & Manners – Fundamentals which was in Phase 4. This activity also helped me develop mechanical skills and taught me that training can be fun for you and your dog.
Training can be serious stuff, but don’t forget to have some fun!
How My Studies Have Changed the Way I See Dogs:
My relationship and communication has deepened with my own dog since joining this program. I am also able to look at dogs in my environment with new eyes. Learning Leave it, and Touch has really helped my dog focus and develop better listening skills.
What I’m Most Excited About:
The knowledge and skills that I am gaining in the CATCH program is priceless. I have a better understanding of how dogs think and learn. I look forward to taking what I have learned in the program and teaching it to dogs and clients.
